Marcus James
- E-business Practice Director
Focused for
the past 5 years on e-business, Marcus James has particular expertise
in developing Portal, CRM, e-commerce, Intranet, and Extranet solutions.
He has more than 14 years of industry experience--selling, managing,
and developing information technology systems. His clients span
a diversity of vertical markets, including communications, transportation,
software, hardware, biotech, and retail.
Prior to joining
forces with MicroMega, Marcus has held management positions at Converge,
a high tech component exchange partnered with such industry leaders
as Hewlett Packard. He founded and managed the Internet Development
Group for Quovera in Silicon Valley. Prior at Banta Integrated Media,
he was in charge of sales and development team efforts for Web Development
in the Silicon Valley. He founded Dragonseed Productions, a Web
development provider headquartered in San Francisco. His past clients
include leading companies such as 3Com, Hewlett Packard, Oracle,
Sportif, and TWA.
Marcus earned
a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from
the University of California, Los Angeles. He also holds certificates
in software development management, project management, and object
oriented analysis.
