Custom Filter Value Controls, Cont.

To use
the samples, follow these steps:
1. Open
Foxfire! and navigate to the data dictionary editor. For the
sample CARS database, edit the data item CARS COLOR and open
the Filter Options dialog. See below
|
| 2. Enter
the UI control class, "AARLOOKUPBOX", in to the "control class"
text box. Enter the control adder class "FFCHARTEXTADD" into
the "control adder class" text box. The control adder class
is the class defination for how to "add" the control to the
AAR dialog and the Filter Builder list. The "add" process has
been objectified to give you maximum flexibility to create your
own logic for adding controls. By default the FFCHARTEXTADD
class is used for non-date data types. |
