Classroom Training or Self-Paced e-Learning?

Instructor-led Classroom Training - Do you want the supportive experience of a small, instructor-led class with lots of individual attention, flexible coverage of off-point-but-related topics, immediate feedback, and lots of enrichment material? Micromega offers instructor-led classroom training throughout the U.S. for two types of users.

Artist or Techie?  We Speak Your Language

Web designers seem to fall into two camps – artists (who tend to be non-techies) and techies (who tend to dream in Javascript). Each has special needs. So we’ve got a different classroom course for each.

Artists are typically scared of databases. So UltraDev for Artists begins with a plain English database introduction that eliminates fear and confusion and teaches you to speak “geek”. You’ll learn how to connect to an ODBC data source and integrate data from Access to Oracle into your web sites.

Techies, on the other hand, are familiar with database and generally comfortable with code-centric tools like Microsoft® Visual InterDev. But many don’t know Dreamweaver, which is the core of UltraDev’s user interface. So UltraDev for Techies includes a Dreamweaver intro and omits Database basics. It teaches Dreamweaver fundamentals and how to integrate databases with web sites. (If you’re a Drumbeat user, it will also draw comparisons and contrasts between Drumbeat and UltraDev for specific tasks). And, we offer a separate Database Basics class by special request if you wish.
